Inmaa Association for Gardening and Gardens

A licensed association based in Aleppo, Syria, that plants, builds and maintains gardens, and trains people in gardening.

Inmaa is a Syrian association that does its own work: it designs and builds gardens, plants trees, runs a nursery and teaches gardening. Income from its landscaping work and plant sales funds its charitable programmes. It does not raise money to pass on to others.

A scientific partnership with the University of Aleppo

Inmaa and the University of Aleppo signed a memorandum of understanding for scientific and academic cooperation on developing the university's public gardens. It covers joint research, training and field visits, and commits Inmaa to funding postgraduate students at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering in fields tied to developing the public gardens.

Inmaa at the University of Aleppo's First International Scientific Week

Inmaa took part in the University of Aleppo's First International Scientific Week with the session “Landscape science and its applications” at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, on the basis of its memorandum of understanding with the university. The session was presented by Inmaa board member Eng. Hassan Al-Omar.

The School Encouragement Competition

Together with Masqan School, Inmaa gave cash prizes to basic and secondary certificate students: SYP 2,000,000 to the top student in each certificate, and SYP 1,000,000 to every student who passed.
